Who is Alexandra?

Hey, my name is Alexandra Pfeifer, I'm 24 years old and I'm an actress, dancer, musician and model. I am currently finishing my bachelor's degree in “Music and Dance Pedagogy” at the Mozarte in Salzburg in the Orff Institute. Through my studies and my job, I work with my body practically every day. My everyday life is often characterized by a lot of dance, movement, training and teaching myself. Conscious body work is also very important to me when singing and playing music.

Why yoga gives me peace

For some time now, in addition to dance styles such as ballet, contemporary, modern dance, hip-hop and house, I have started practicing yoga and meditation. As a result, I have finally found something that calms me down and helps me find my balance again on stressful days. Through conscious breathing exercises, I have learned to find moments of calm even during a strenuous training session or while teaching. Yoga exercises help me to improve my mobility and flexibility and to perceive and get to know my body better.

Regular warm-up in the morning

If I'm on a shoot or shoot, I don't go to set without a thorough warm-up in the morning. Luckily I was told this as a tip early on and I have really attached great importance to it ever since. Even if I don't have to dance or move around in the scene, I immediately notice a difference in my playing and execution if I haven't done a warm-up beforehand. Simply taking a moment for myself in the morning, noticing the ground beneath me and grounding myself, arriving in my body and centering myself, makes a huge difference for me. And I start the day and my work much more relaxed and balanced.

Why the hejhej-mat gives me even more motivation

My friends gave me a hejhej-mat for my birthday this year and I was so happy! I've been wanting to get a yoga mat from hejhej for a while now, ever since I tried out a friend's one. Since I finally got my own hejhej-mat , my motivation to roll out the yoga mat in the morning or evening has actually increased significantly. Because we all know that there are days when you just don't want to move... My hejhej-mat has since become my new faithful companion and I love the feeling I get on this mat. I really never thought that getting a good, high quality mat that was also completely sustainable could make such a big difference!! But trust me, it really does! I recently got the hejhej block and am absolutely thrilled with it. Not only can I use it as a support for my exercises, because its weight also makes it perfect for supporting me with strength exercises. It also gives me great support! So I can really recommend it to everyone. Consciously dedicating just 10 - 15 minutes a day to your own body can change so much for you.
