The designer villa rests on a steep slope on the island of La Palma above the Atlantic Ocean. The property, designed according to the plans of the renowned Berlin architectural firm Kazanski Keilhacker Urban Design Architektur, resembles a three-dimensional sculpture: the roof’s rabbets are modelled on butterfly wings and provide shade on the sunny south side. To the north, a slatted wall filters the wind into a gentle breeze.
